Our beautiful, historic chapel offers the perfect backdrop for a blessing or celebrant-led ceremony. Or on a sunny, warm day, our picturesque arbor is the perfect spot for a less formal celebrant-led ceremony or celebration, surrounded by greenery and the gentle splash of our fountain.
The capacity for our chapel and dining hall is 90, with larger numbers available for outdoor ceremonies and marquee dining.
No matter what style of celebration you are having, you are guaranteed exclusive access to the venue for your special day.

FAQ
We are an unlicensed venue, so you cannot get legally married at Melchet Court. However, this gives you much more flexibility with designing a ceremony for your special day. Chat to our celebration coordinator for more information.
Yes, we have plenty of space on the back lawns of the venue, perfect for a marquee if you are looking to have a larger celebration.
90 guests for inside celebrations and dining, however, a marquee outside numbers can be increased. We would love to here from you so that we can begin to plan your special day.

Yes! We have lots of vendors that we love working with, and we are very happy to recommend them.
No. It's your wedding, and you can use whichever vendors you choose.
Yes, absolutely! No one wants to think of anything negative connected to their wedding day, but wedding insurance is an absolute must-have, for any just-in-case occurrences.

Yes. We have a dedicated area for getting ready, and the newly married couple can even stay overnight at no extra cost!

If you have planned to use our beautiful arbor for an outdoor ceremony, but the weather turns bad, it's no problem! We will simply move the ceremony inside into our stunning chapel instead.
Yes, we will include all tableware, as well as white table cloths and napkins. If anyone would like coloured napkins and tablecloths they will be an additional charge.
